PARTICIPATION WAIVER
As the parent or legal guardian of the child registered, I hereby give my full consent and approval for my child to participate in the Brazilian United Corporation (BUC) soccer programs. I understand that there are certain risks of injury inherent in the practice and play of soccer, as well as in traveling and other related activities incidental to my child’s participation, and I am willing to assume these risks on behalf of my child. I hereby certify that my child is fully capable of participating in the sport of soccer and that my child is healthy and has no physical or mental disabilities or infirmities that would restrict full participation in these activities.
In addition to giving my full consent for my child’s participation, I do hereby waive, release, and hold harmless BUC, its officers, coaches, sponsors, supervisors, and representatives from any injury that may be suffered by my child in the normal course of participation in soccer and related activities, whether the result of negligence or any other cause.
I hereby authorize BUC to send e-mails and text message notifications, as well as use my child’s name and images/pictures in club promotional materials, the BUC website, social media platforms, and press releases.
PARTICIPANT PRIVACY & SECURITY
BUC is committed to protecting the privacy and security of our participants and their families. Any personal information collected, including contact details and media content, will be used solely for program-related communications, promotions, and internal purposes. BUC does not sell, share, or distribute personal information to third parties without consent, except when required by law. All data is securely stored and handled in compliance with applicable privacy regulations to ensure the safety of all participants.
PARENT RESPONSIBILITIES
US Youth Soccer, as adopted by BUC, believes parents play a vital role in the development of youth athletes. Unfortunately, many parents, fans, and coaches don’t realize that their actions—whether verbal or non-verbal, positive or negative—can have a lasting emotional effect on youth. Parent behavior can directly affect the behavior of their players and the overall attitude of team families.
To ensure that the principles of sportsmanship, fair play, and mutual respect among players, coaches, officials, and spectators are upheld, the following Parent Code of Conduct has been established by the US Youth Soccer Executive Committee. The standards of behavior identified in this code are not intended to be exhaustive. Participants should be aware that any behavior not specifically described herein but failing to meet the spirit and intent of this code may subject those involved to disciplinary action.
REFUND POLICY
Kindly be aware that a refund fee of $50 shall be applicable if a refund is requested 30 days prior to the program. However, no refunds will be granted after the aforementioned date.
